Decent sized rooms in this authentic hotel. Local area, central location next to the restaurant, the bike trails and Innerleithen near a fab play park for tiring out the children. 15 minutes' walk to St Ronan's Wells.

Very slow staff!

The hotel is a good base for a trip in Innerleithen. The venue is placed in a central position ideally close to the mountain.

After hitting the trails, we enjoyed the warm atmosphere of the local pub, perfect for catching up over a pint. Our stay included a hearty breakfast that fueled our adventures. The location was great. We loved biking the Tweedlove trails!

One downside was the room could use a bit of updating. It felt slightly tired and the TV didn't work. Still, the staff were polite and they offered alternatives.

Dated room decor needs immediate refurbishment!!! Noise issues from corridors can disrupt sleep, and poor room maintenance leaves much to be desired!!! Limited parking capacity adds unnecessary stress to your stay!!!

Cozy room, friendly staff, the excellent roast dinner I had exceeded my expectations and was complemented by the strong wi-fi available throughout the hotel.

I loved how close this place is to fantastic sights like Traquair House, just a short stroll away, and St Ronan's Wells, perfect for a leisurely walk and a bit of history. The hearty and filling breakfasts in the bar also made my mornings a real treat for someone who enjoys exploring on foot like I do.

The cottage we stayed in had a lot of space, perfect for our group. The bar lounge provided a cozy atmosphere, great for evening chats. Friendly hotel staff made a noticeable difference, always smiling and helpful. The cottage felt a bit shabby. Mould in the bathroom was off-putting, and the kitchen lacked basic utensils like a chopping board. The beds weren't very comfortable either. A few details really need attention to.

The en suite was small and the towel rail was broken. I found the parking limited, a bit inconvenient.

The traditional Scottish pubs nearby are perfect for unwinding after a long day of biking in the beautiful countryside. Our family loved hitting the trails, and after a day full of adventure, it was nice to have a cozy spot to catch up and share stories!

My kids wished for a cleaner room and better amenities for families. A few more towels and proper cleaning would go a long way.
